While the whole festival is still ahead of us (tomorrow, finally, woohoo!), we are already looking forward to the grand finale on Sunday.

This year the festival will end in a spectacular way with the three finalists of the World Harp Competition, the award ceremony and – during the jury deliberations – a performance by Remy van Kesteren and his Analogue Robot Orchestra. The Orchestra premiered in 2019 during Remy’s theatre tour and in the past year Remy and Jurjen Alkema – who is responsible for building the electronic rhythm instruments – expanded, changed and perfected the orchestra. Remy’s show will include own compositions accompanied by Jurjen’s mesmerizing visuals and will be a new chapter for this extraordinary instrumentalist. Don't miss it! 👀

Like every edition, the festival will open with a

Like every edition, the festival will open with a spectacular concert which not only shows all facets of the harp, but also includes highlights of the festival line-up and special guests. This year’s main guest is Ukrainian star Maryna Krut. The singer and player of the bandura, the Ukrainian harp, arrived this week from Kyiv especially for Dutch Harp Festival to play her music and tell her story. The opening also includes performances by the finalists of the World Harp Competition, Myron Hamming, Marije Nie, Sekou Dioubate, Remy van Kesteren himself and Goldmyth, who will also be playing the festival the following day. Expect folk, rock, classical music, pop, fado, inciting Paraguayan traditional music, Chinese Konghou and of course, lots of harp.
